See allTight writing, fun ideas, and great visuals. The cherry on top? The main character isn't yet another do-it-all young adult brimming with wisdom and perfection.

This adequate ending to a truly titanic tale did it's best to wrap up myriad loose ends and character arcs. Like so many of it's characters, it could have been better, but it could have been so much worse. I'm going to miss those Malazans and friends and enemies and acquaintances and hangers-on and poets and gods. (Maybe not the poets...)
Shallow premise, cardboard characters in an oddly soapboxy narrative. The quality of the series has trended downward quickly, which is unfortunate as the overall theme was quite fun.
