I loved this book! It had wonderful characterisation, interesting plot, plenty of mystery and suspense.
What is scientific integrity? How far will you go to save your career? These are among many questions that the book raises (some other questions might be too spoiler-y).
Vivian and Olivia, the main characters, are written marvelously! Both of them are influenced by their childhood and other things that happened to them in life, both have good and bad personality traits, all of which are justified by the story.
The structure of the story is well done, as well. There are plenty of parallels between the two women and their decisions, as well brilliant contrasts of their lives. The change of point of view is also done in appropriate times.
On the other hand, I didn't get used to the author's voice immediately. The first passages meeting Olivia felt a bit awkward. However, the writing quickly picked up, turning this book into a greatly enjoyable read.
