The ‘theory' of this book annoyed at the beginning which has probably ruined the book for me. I can't really comment on the effectiveness of the practice as I've not started it yet; it may improve how I view this book
An amazing book that I recommend to absolutely anyone who has ever experienced depression, or even “the blues.”
This book is a basic primer on mindfulness and meditation and how these practices can be used to stop and reverse the negative mental cycle that so many people with depression tend to fall into. It is an easy read and the techniques are simple enough for anyone who suffers from depression or just wants to live more in “the now” to apply.
