Such a cute book! The illustrations and color pallet are nice, both bright but representing of night-time. An interesting take on libraries open late at night for all the animal patrons to enjoy. I like the child being able to solve simple patron problems creatively and still providing them a service at the same time! Someone must have really loved libraries to write this thoughtful fun book!
“‘What is the matter, Miss Wolf?' asked the little librarian. ‘Something very sad happened in my story and I can't read it anymore,' replied the wolf.”
I feel you, miss wolf.
The best part of this book is the stubborn tortoise who gets his library book tied to his shell with ribbon by two library owls.
