The Library of Lost and Found

So much padding here. The story was good, but at about halfway, I was like, okay, wrap it up soon, please.

Summary:
Volunteer librarian, Martha Storm, is gifted a book containing fairy tales that she wrote during her childhood, which was published by her grandmother three years after the day that the grandma died. This leads her to discover a family secret.

A quaint, very light reading. I love books about books and libraries, however I was a bit disappointed with how little presence books/libraries truly had in this book. Sure, it was a major plot point and setting, however with a title like The Library of Lost and Found, you would think it would be more of the focus. Characters were the highlight of this story, but even then, disappointing. Just not for me.

Book 17 book spin

Wow what cute read and read it quickly to but at good pace as couldn't put it down.
Had it in my kindle long long time but since giving book spin bingo a go on listy it's made me determined to keep reading

Cute story which deals with the main character, Martha, learning things about her family/life she didn't know about.

Heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. A true journey of hope, love and growth.

This is the second book of Phaedra Patrick's I've read and it was another mess. In both books, the main character is a middle-aged sad sack who ho-hum-what-do-i-dos about every single second of the day.

This novel is supposed to be set in current times, but seems like it's from the ‘50s. L. The

I love what she writes. This is heartwarming and hard and creative. I am so glad she included the story of The Nightingale and The Woodcutter. That was really important to make me prepared to forgive characters and move on. There is just so much heart in this book!

This one did take me a little longer to get into, but this is a busy time for me too. Overall I loved this book and these characters.
