The High Mountains of Portugal

I probably didn't get all the subtle meanings, but I enjoyed the (audio) book!

2 stars ...and that's generous (imo). If this wasn't an audiobook, I probably wouldn't have finished it. I just think Yann Martel's writing really isn't for me :/ I have NO idea what this book was about really, I just didn't understand it. Part I and II were weird and kinda boring. Part III was my “favourite” just because I really liked the chimpanzee...

What a weird book. I enjoyed reading it and I like the way Martel writes, but I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it, or what it was trying to say.
