The Hero of Ages

There was no romance, no drama, just pure action and relentless fights that burned all my emotional capability. Yet, this book made me cry on many scenes. You couldn't have told me before starting my first Brandon Sanderson book that it would evoke such a range of emotions. I know this series has many more books and side novels, but reading The Hero of Ages was absolutely one of the best reading experiences of my life.

Spook, my boy, my man, my precious Tineye. You are the true hero of this age. I see Kelsier's spirit in you, even without the spear. I was one of the few who always believed in you.

Imagine, all the characters have their own interesting and unique traits and qualities. Every single one. And at the same time, the storytelling is just perfect. I can't believe both aspects are achieved at such a high level. It's simply perfect. I love this book.
