I liked this. It was cute, but left a little to be desired. This story was lacking depth and details. But I still enjoyed it.
I give this a 3.5/4 stars. It was enjoyable and I definitely liked it. The main character I though t was super annoying like I couldn't stand her. But she gets better over the course of the book. The main love interest is so great. I love how he is very involved in acting and theater because I am too. The other characters were mostly just jerks and I didn't like really any of them except for the main love interest's family. The plotline was one of the best parts. I don't think the plot line had any flaws and I really liked the direction that it went. The writing was very just Kasie West. It was just a light fun contemporary that does delve a little into actual problems.
It was like eating McNuggets
Probably bad for me but I loved it and absolutely no regrets
I went into this book blind but after reading my first Kasey West book last year I was really excited to finally be reading another one and luckily this one didn't disappoint. This is a cute quick romance that had some funny moments but at the same time touches on some hard truths. I wasn't completely satisfied with how things ended though because there were certain characters that got away with things and I didn't think that was right especially after how harsh people were to another character. Sorry that's vague but I don't want to spoil anything.

I didn't pick up this book hoping to like it, but I'm surprised how much I like it now!!
I'm pretty much sure this isn't a great book, but I give you my word that it surely lifts your mood
and since the writing is too basic, it can be picked up by the beginners.
Ugh, I should have listened to the reviews.
But alas, my curiosity and love for fake-dating stories got the best of me.
And I felt that Gia become obsessed with Hayden, Fill-In Bradley's real name, way too early. Like within the first couple of pages early.
It's just boring and filled with dialogue and some of it dragged out. I began to skim through because I wanted to see where this story would go and when all of Gia's lies would come out. It was kind of anti-climatic. And so was the ending. Incomplete and unsatisfying. And I felt like Gia didn't realize her mistakes ‘til late. And the Real Bradley was like 21-years-old dating a girl in high school. Ew.
One good thing I can say about Gia was that at least she tried to get along with her frenemy, Jules. She was the bigger person and tried to makes things work.
I'm a sucker for the whole popular-girls-becoming-humble trope also, but this was not it.
this book was so cute and fun! It reminded me of a simpler/more concise sarah dessen book. i listened to this an audio and honestly had a blast. a light, short read that was super enjoyable for me.
Karya2 Kasie West ringan sekali, mirip2 Sarah Dessen, tapi Sarah topiknya lebih berat namun msh bisa dicerna oleh anak remaja, yg memang target buku2 mereka. Kasie mengangkat hal2 ringan remaja, seperti pertemanan, persahabatan, cowok yg disuka, rencana stlh lulus, keluarga.
I actually teared up while reading this book. The character development was amazing but I was kind of peeved that Jules didn't get her comeuppance smh. Overall, great, cute and fluffy book.
I had such high expectations for this book but it kind of fell flat. It was interesting overall and kept me entertained but the ending was pretty abrupt. His was pretty flat as a character and we dont really get to know the characters at all.
Great book. Hope there is a sequel as I'd love to see the characters come into themselves a bit more !
