I never forfeit an opportunity to whip out my Strunk in earnest

It's hard to argue with a book barely 40 pages of text long that is considered one of the best books on writing. I'd write more, but my thoughts don't mean much and I'm already breaking too many of Strunk's rules just in these few lines.

Enjoyed the opinions and clarity of writing. Seems a bit outdated though. Would recommend only for historical interest.

Useful for what it is, if a bit poorly laid out. The more famous second edition is better.

The Elements of Style by William Strunks Jr. is a brilliant book about how to write as well as avoid common mistakes in writing. One could learn a lot from this book and improve his writing skills immensely.

Great book teaching a lot of rules about writing. I'll take some time to apply its teachings.

This book has several qualities that make it perfect for my learning style: it is short, concise, and full of good examples. Case in point, I have learned how to use a colon in a sentence.
