The Bone Bed

I very rarely give books such low ratings but I just did not enjoy this book. Too much time was spent on Scarpetta's inner musings and her seeing conspiracies at every turn. I fear Patricia Cornwell will be dropped from my reading list, which is a shame as her earlier novels were enjoyable.
