The Bone Bed

This series is getting old, I find it hard to believe that these characters have relationships with each other based on their conversations and actions. Think I'll have to call it quits, if the author doesn't.

I very rarely give books such low ratings but I just did not enjoy this book. Too much time was spent on Scarpetta's inner musings and her seeing conspiracies at every turn. I fear Patricia Cornwell will be dropped from my reading list, which is a shame as her earlier novels were enjoyable.
