The Blood Blooms in the Barrens, Vol. 4

Tomonaga, a member of the Self-Defense Forces stationed in Djibouti, goes to rescue a downed helicopter and ends up protecting a woman named Askira, who fled after her clan was attacked. However, they are ambushed by the forces pursuing her, resulting in the deaths of five of his comrades. As the remaining seven members and Askira flee, they are pursued by the enemy. During their escape, the youngest member, Ichinose, is killed, and a village they stop at is attacked, leading to the death of Shinkai and leaving Tsukuda injured and unconscious. They reach a ruined city, but a sandstorm rages outside. Tsukuda and Askira stay behind, while the remaining members search for the enemy, but…!?
