Survive the Night

I skimmed the last half of the book and from what I read I have no strong desire to continue. I feel like it could make for a nice teen horror film or a horror comedy movie.

What a disappointment.
I was all set up for a great YA thriller about these teens being hunted by some serial killer or something through the sewers. Except it took a good 3rd of the book to even get to the underground rave. There was no investment in the characters, cause absolutely everyone was so flawed and to top it all off, the bloody “big bad” was Spoilersome tentacled sewer monster, which completed did not fit the tone of the book.
Meanwhile, here I was making theories, all of which would have been vast improvements on the plot.
Oh and that ending! SpoilerLets make out even though my supposed best friend was just mutilated. WTF!!!
Cannot remember the last time I was more disappointed with a book.
