Would probaby be much higher rated from me if I haven't seen n this orgin story so many times. The pacing feels way off as well though.
For reasons unbeknownst to humankind, I decided to start reading the Ultimate Marvel Universe. And it starts well! Spider-Man's origin is pretty well worn and there's no surprises here, but it's effective, and the goofier moments are charming enough. Solid stuff.
I was looking for a good starting point to take on reading Spider-Man and I finally landed here. Ultimate Spider-Man: Power and Responsibility is pretty much your basic introduction into the Spider-verse. All the key ingredients are there and it takes you step-by-step deeper and deeper into this world. Nothing outlandish, nothing that stands out in particular, and a decent read.
