Not my favorite John Varley book, but that's a pretty darn high bar. It was still a compelling and terrific read.
Not terrible, but disappointing from Varley. Old white American dude's model of the world.
Very slow to start, but after about 30 pages in, it picked up. Interesting premise, well-written main characters. The only thing was the supporting cast were little more than sketches.
