The writing style bothered me, so I stopped really early on. Not going to rate it because I read so little of it; this is more of a note for me to come back to so I remember what happened.
I mean... I finished it but wished I didn't.
This was a workplace, fake dating, grumpy sunshine romance. Which is usually right up my alley but this missed the mark for me.
Chloe's bar for like common decency in men was on the ground. He did one decent thing and she is like my heart can't handle it. I felt she was really annoying and naive.
Barrett was a typical CEO grumpy man. Focused on the deal. Will do anything for the deal. Fake date a woman and then fall in love with her...
The Spicy scenes were good but overall not great
I didn't have any expectations for this book that I got on a Stuff Your Kindle day, but I enjoyed it very much.
The banter was good, the spice was great and it was fake dating done right.
Steamy, fake dating, grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers. What more do you need out of a book?
