Rebel Wolf

I'm surprised by how much I liked this. I'm not sure if I was just dying to get back into a fantasy world or what, because wow I loved this. I also didn't put it down to sleep, but thankfully my man is pretty persuasive.

The fact that shifters are known, but disliked was a new aspect, as well as Anna researching the shifters. It didn't add much to the story, but I have a feeling that it will. Also, there are other shifters besides wolves which I always enjoy. While the series will focus on the Donovan brothers, there is still a possibility that other shifters will get romances and such too!

I thought this was written well. I believe there were a few errors, but nothing too distracting. I thought the flow was good even though the book is pretty short. I loved the grungy dangerous feel to the book.

The characters are great. Anna isn't an idiot (THANK YOU) and she seems like a normal human being. The brothers are all different following stereotypes that long time readers of this genre will probably recognize. Let me add this: The fact that the author didn't start with the alpha story is also such a breath of fresh air. YES! I love Ian, but I'm glad he isn't alpha. It would have been so predictable.
I do think some of the obstacles in the book were almost anti-climatic or didn't need much effort to overcome, but considering the page amount, I guess that makes sense.

All in all, I totally loved this book and once I have my own income, I do plan on buying the next books. I really want...well, all of their stories, but I'm looking forward to Brody's and Heath's stories, yet Brody is last!!! I'll have to buy them all and I'm looking forward to it.
