DNF'ing this one. I wanted to love this so much more. It's not that it's bad, but I don't think I have the britpop music knowledge to fully appreciate it. I also had no idea what was going on in issue #1. It just wasn't for me.

Pretentious, unfollowable garbage. I love The Wicked + The Divine AND britpop and still this was torture to get through.

Indie snobbery as comics. This is a decent introduction to the world of Phonomancers (magicians who use music as their fuel), but stick around, the second volume is miles better.

Liked the idea. Didn't like the execution. The essays on Britpop were enjoyable but the story was rather pretentious and confusing.
