This is just trashy horror, and usually I like them but this was just not a fit for me.
This was giving 80s horny teenagers on a vacation cabin while a serial killer is loose in the forest behind. And trust me, I love that kind of campy horror, but this lacked any dimension. It just fell so flat for me.
Probably is a product of it's time, since it was actually published in 1980.
I don't see any reason to continue reading.
Genuinely horrifying but suffered from a serious case of Man writing about women and their breasts.
a fairly generic slasher full of over the top gore but no real meat to the story (pun intended) didn't really gross me out even maybe i'm just crazy. for fans of stephen king who want something a lil grosser but with the same amount of poorly written women.
Gruesome! The amount of body limbs flying off is quite staggering.
But that's not the most shocking. Not even the cannibalism. No, the most shocking was when Carla threw her lunch bag into the stream! It really give you a real sense of the era which this was written, when trash was tossed wherever you were. Back when Indians cried pleading for a cleaner America. It really stood out to for me to read that.
