Somehow I did not realise this was about the Norse Gods again, which do not interest me at all.

Neil Gaiman writes a delightful tale involving an awkward Viking, adventure and coming of age and into your own. Lovely Illustrated version has beautiful drawings by Chris Riddell, who seems to compliment Gaiman's stories so well. Fun read!

Neil, why do you make me cry all the time? :-)
I love this little story. Absolutely love it :-)

I think I just love books with any sort of Norse mythology in them.

I listened to the audiobook verion narrated by the author.

Overall, I enjoyed this. Is a nice book for children. It didn't strike me as original as many other Gaiman books. That's why I'm only giving it 3 stars. It's good, but not the originality I expected.

Un beau conte nordique, décidément je ne me lasse pas de Neil Gaiman. Beau, doux, très poétique, espiègle à de nombreux moments, vraiment touchant. Une jolie découverte :)

A good, quick read. Could be more fleshed-out, but is clearly aimed at kids. Perfect if you loved American Gods.

This is a charming tale, almost a myth. It's a quick and excellent read (well, it is geared to a 10-year-old audience) with timeless qualities.
