The element of academia in dark academia is my ultimate reason for reading these kinds of books. I love it when it's the core of the plot. I've had my eye on this for a long time and I'm happy to report that I loved everything.

I have mixed feelings about this but overall I liked it.

The romance was okay I guess but what kept me reading was the plot. Kinda hard to keep up with the chaos of everything happening at the end but it was definitely interesting.

I am by no means an expert but the study felt real, very well thought and put together. I was not bored once reading about the research, I think it was one of the coolest parts for me cause it matched the ominous vibes of the book, which I also loved.

3 in general book world—which does make it a solid 4 in romance novel world.
