My Sunshine Away

This just wasn't it. 
I wanted to enjoy it. I liked the premise. I liked the location. I only finished it because I wanted to know who raped Lindy. I wish I would have just read a spoiler review and saved myself the time. 
This isn't a “who done it” thriller. This is an adult man reminiscing on his whiny ass teenage years. 
It wasn't enjoyable, it was just annoying and boring.  

Good book. Nice twist and a happy ending.

Listened to this book on a long drive...I probably wouldn't have finished it if I had been reading it. The main character drove me a bit crazy. His obsession with his next door neighbor was twisted and made me uncomfortable as a reader/listener.

I feel the author saved the novel with the final few chapters but barely. (I only got to the ending because of the fact it was a long trip & I didn't have other options.)
