As a professional, as a wife, as a daughter and as a mother, Kelly Ripa brings a hard-earned wisdom and an eye for the absurdity of life to every minute of every day. Whether recounting how she and Mark really met, the level of chauvinism she experienced on set, how Jersey Pride follows her wherever she goes, and many, many moments of utter mortification, Kelly always tells it like it is. I loved this book! I listened to the audiobook (not CD), and it was narrated by the author.
Kelly made me laugh out loud many times. She is so intelligent, and honest, and smart-witted, and just funny. I was glad she called out one of her previous co-stars (Regis) and yet, I was hoping there would be a little info about the more recent split from another co-star (Michael).
Kelly's husband (Mark) also adds a few lines to the audio version. Kelly said this wasn't a memoir, and although I really enjoy memoirs, I believe this was the perfect way for her to tell her story.
