I am asking myself why I continue to read an author I really do not like. This is definitely the last one.
This story was just a ton of phrases most people know or have heard. Its not really a self-help book, but I think it tries real hard.
I am so glad I decided to read (listen) to this book. Michelle shared her story from childhood to current day. I was able to partly understand how she dealt with 8 years in the white house.
Although she grew up without a lot of extras, she was fortunate to have the ability to go to a good school.
Everyone should read this book.
This was an interesting story. I like how the author incorporates real life historical events into their stories and I get to learn some new things. This story touched on the topic of mixed-race marriage. It is amazing how far we've come on this subject and yet how for many it is still taboo.
This was terrible. The author is egotistical, a bully and just a not very nice person based on events she put in this book. And even if I could laugh at some of the dumb things she did, there were too many times I cringed instead of laughing. From what I can tell, she has other books (HOW?) that are similar. I'll pass. Not a fan.
I guess I'm the only one who has never read King's work before. My review is about this book/story. I was captured from the beginning and enjoyed it to the end. There was a short chapter with some detail on a character that I wish had been shorter, however the details throughout the rest of the story see great. This is a good book I really liked and I would recommend it to others.
