I feel like I should write a quick note to say I'm marking this as DNF and leaving it unrated, not because it's a bad book, but just because I've read plenty on the Siege already and only needed to skim certain chapters. This looks like a great account and introduction though if the siege is largely unknown to you.

I couldn't put it down. A fantastic book about a tragic event.
