Legend

I first learned about Marie Lu because of The Young Elites. I loved it so much that it took me a while to start Legend as I do not want to spoil my love for her. I guess I was wrong because I think I am in love with her more. She writes so beautifully and convincingly I feel that every page is a masterpiece. She made everything about Legend feel so true that when I was done, I was eager to get my hands on Prodigy which I am now starting. I usually do not write reviews after I read a book, it takes me time and effort to review and think how many stars it deserves— but for Legend, there's no asking or second thoughts. It deserves more than the 5 stars goodreads allows you to give. The writing is perfect. The characters are well thought of, well established and undeniably likeable despite the good or the bad. Everything about Legend is what every reader wants in a book. A true full on experience of a new world.
