This is a 3.5. I don't like the disrespect shown to Serinuma Kae, the sweet, smart, kind otaku who loves fantasy. It's just not necessary to be so mean to her. She, I like. The boys... irritating except for like one who has always been kind to her, before and after weight loss.

For some reason I was too embarrassed to actually check out this series from the library but NOT too embarrassed to review it on Goodreads.

Está muuuy bueno, y fangirle mucho con lo identificada que me vi respecto a los gustos de Kae-chan. Estoy emocionada por ver el anime. La estrella faltante es debido al diseño. No me gustó lo suficiente.

I don't think I'd want my niece reading this without a discussion about body image issues and fatphobia. Some potential, but the poor handling of the main character's looks and size and transformation make me unable to give it a higher score.

Thought this book was super cute, looking forward to the next installment!
