i think i was watching a random youtube video and the youtuber mentioned this book and so i decided to give it a try and it was pretty good! i'm not someone who enjoys reading more spicy books, and this one had quite a bit of that, which made me enjoy this a little less. regardless, i liked this book!
I think Keira Andrews is a fine writer, but her plots, which often feature a significant age gap, don't always work for me. So I was happy to see that the MCs of Kiss and Cry are both young men. The enemies-to-lovers trope is a good one, and watching Theo realize there is more to Henry than a humorless robot while Henry learns to appreciate Theo's sweetness and surprising vulnerability is charming (an also hot). And it all takes place in the run-up to the Olympic figure skating event, which is always a crowd-pleaser. I pick and choose among this author's prolific output, and I'm glad I chose this one.
