Maybe it's a matter of the author going to the same well one too many times but this one didn't grab me the same way as the first two in the series. The completely bonkers world of dino-shifters will never not be entertaining, but the romance was not convincing given the few days the MCs knew each other (is it weird that I can accept a race of ageless beings who turn into dinosaurs but don't believe a simple case of insta-luv?). None of this will stop me from continuing to read the series, of course. There's still Montana and Yu who need their HEAs (And maybe even the newest member of the pack, the newly awakened Allosaurus Henry).
