Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher

I re-read this not too long ago and wanted to make sure it was on my list. Great adventure, I even remember reading this when I was in elementary school.

Great story, and I think a lot of kids get excited about dragons that It is also a great story about when a responsibility is too big to handle and what the right thing to do might be. Creative and fun story!

I thought I had read this as a kid, but I'm not convinced this was the same book. That in itself was disappointing but no fault of the author or the book. It was a cute story and one I might have liked in elementary school. It was missing something though, and I found the end to send the wrong message. Jeremy never learns to handle his grief, it's just magically eliminated.
