If You Want Me

I feel like I want to love these books, the hockey organization, the friend groups, but the amount I like them is overshadowed by the moments that make me feel, cringy.

There is stuff I enjoy, but the stuff I don't really brings me out of it. I don't love a 17 year old in the friend group, I don't love that the MMC, who is best friends with the FMC's dad uses “little girl” sometimes... There had to be a better choice, and as bad as I thought that was, it was worst when she called him Daddy Hollis. Although the age gap doesn't bother me, the ages and life stages sort of did.
