How to Teach English

I read two books written by Jeremy Harmer and both of them were great place to start knowing the basics of Teaching any Languages. The first one is Essential Teacher Knowledge which is also used for TKT exams. I liked it very much since it was where I learned to create different activities and learned to be a creative teacher. These books really give you ideas that are manageable even in the hardest situations. But of these two, I guess how to teach English contains more elaborations on the ideas explained in the Essential Teacher Knowledge.

Pretty good resource for the beginning teacher. Didn't really cover anything that wasn't also covered in the class I was reading this for, but a well-written introduction to the discipline.
