I have heard so many good things about this author and have really wanted to try and read the first of her books in this series, but sometimes you can't get on certain tours in time :-) My interest in How to Catch a Prince belongs to the fact that I always enjoy reading modern-day fairy-tales especially when there is an actual royal family involved. However, I really couldn't get into How to Catch a Prince. The writing was gorgeous and I loved how the author worded this story, but the actual story failed to capture my attention and I had a hard time continuing to read it. It just seemed to move a little too slow for me and the details were too repetitive. However the characters were wonderfully thought out and very well portrayed through their actions and words so that was refreshing to read, I could understand exactly where each character was coming from and their actions were believable.
So having said the above, I will still rate How to Catch a Prince 4 out of 5 stars despite my lack of interest in the story line, because I was very impressed with the author's heart and equally as much as her writing. I look forward to giving some of her other books a chance as soon as I can!
