Cute, But Weak Rhyming

This book is adorable. The art is gorgeous and worthy of being a children's television show - one with real art, and not some of the hideous things from recent years. The story itself is also rather cute, though it has a few mixed signals and doesn't quite touch on what should have been the moral.

My main issue is that I found the rhyme scheme rather forced on several pages and thought it didn't quite fit properly. I don't think most children would notice, but parents may stumble a couple times trying to make it work while reading aloud.
