Good overview, although quite shallow. This is not really a study of game design around emotions, but a set of different aspects of games which can create some emotions. The UI, the networking elements, etc. As it is a very quick read, the book serves well as an introduction to the topic and also helps to get a new angle on some aspects of what makes us ‘feel' in games.
outlines the concepts of how games of all types are able to evoke emotion and connection in and between humans
