Her Pack Fractured

Kali has the most neglectful mates. Denny is awesome, but the other three??? At least Jett is honest about not caring for her, Tracker and Rainer are holier than thou sacrificing all their time to their community and going literal days without talking to her... when they live in the same house. They pat themselves on the back by “stepping up and being better mates” which is I kid you not guaranteeing they eat 1 meal a day with her (which always changes) and 1 date a week– which also gets cancelled often.

I understand they are busy and their communities are under threat. They don't have time, I get it! But occasional texts and designating 1 hour at night to chat with your mate, PLUS 1 meal a day ffs is such an easy thing to accomplish.

I don't understand how she can love them when she never sees them and I don't know why they like her when they act like having to spend time with her is a burden. Plus after that ending????? Unforgivable. Absolutely unforgivable. When you've been told that you must stay beside your mate's side for 48 hours or she'll die and then you peace out because "information has come in" and "I can't let him go alone" meaning (again for the back) SHE WILL DIE that is inexcusable. There is no groveling your way out of this especially when they keep saying they'll do better and then fail. All their pack mates are dumbstruck over how Kali's mates are treating her. Except Dennis who is the best mate.

The writing style and how quickly I devour these books makes me want to keep going. I want to know if Kali is a supernatural. I want to know how she'll be happy BUT I do not want to see her with 3 out of 4 of her mates. Therefore, I can't keep reading! I'll just be pissed!!
There is only so many times “sorry” will work when it said for the same thing. She'll have to take them back though if she wants to live. Because that's how this mate bond works and it is so stupid. So... I'm mad and want to hate read???? UGH maybe if this was only a trilogy i'd skim through the 3rd book...
