This guy's writing voice sounds really pompous.

This book is really meh and repetitive (plus if you add the writer's voice = a bad time) and if you're looking for hotel tips...just give tips. There's not anything actually useful.

A funny, entertaining, and quick read. I love memoirs and this is a good one. I learned a few things: primarily, carry cash. It's also a great book for building empathy for hotel workers, I totally do a few things on his don't do/don't say list. I'm looking forward to being a better guest :)

Good, if repetitive, with some useful tips for travelers and light on the gross and disgusting anecdotes.

Loved this book! Tomsky knows how to tell a good story and Heads in Beds is filled with hilarious anecdotes from his years behind the front desk. A must-read for anyone who's worked in the service industry.
