A fun remix/retelling of the Tempest, this isn't a book that will change the world but as a little piece to add to the rich mosaic of Shakespeare discourse it is a treat.

Plus Margaret Atwood sneaks in some Literature Studies 101, which is always a treat.

I enjoyed it immensely. She made a good job with the parallels between the play and the “reality”, on so many levels.

Received a free ARC through Net Galley.

A cleverly-constructed, funny retelling of Shakespeare's The Tempest that manages to surprise even if you know the plot points of the original play. Worth reading even if you're not familiar with/a fan of The Tempest.

I wasn't sure that I'd like this because I'm not a huge Shakespeare person, despite being an English major. But because it was Margaret Atwood it was engrossing.
