For me, getting into this book was difficult. Even though the first couple of chapters does have some great information, i just wasn't getting engaged in the book until a few chapters in. I enjoyed reading it until the last few chapters- then again, good info but I was loosing engagement.
Ultimately I would recommend this book to information professionals because it does have really interesting history, builds/ideas/inventions for info, and general humans being curious through the book that really increased my perspective and thinking.
Interesting, but I'm not sure why I needed to know 3/4 of it. My favorite bits were about Ted Nelson and hypertext.
I enjoy nicely designed book covers, although a poorly designed cover doesn't detract from a good book. That said, I really dislike Glut's cover.
