One thing I strongly believe in is introducing and talking about death early, this middle grade book really touches nicely on that subject. My favorite theme in this book is about breathing...Her sister has trouble breathing, Our main character forgets to just breath and relax a little, and the ghosts miss breathing and love the feeling of wind. There was some very nice serious moments and I like Raina Telgemeier's style of realistic story telling with a bit of fantasy I think is a really nice fit for her and I hope she writes another one like this. In all of her books I think she always introduces subjects that need to be addressed in a very nice manner.
