Fangs and Fennel

While this installment is obviously still over the top, I felt like the world building was a little more solid. There were those unanswered questions I had at the end of the last book, conveniently all answered! I am not sure how Mayer is going to wrap this up in one more book, but it will be a fun read.

This book focused on the next “hero” that Alena faces, and it does not disappoint. Theseus is going to be a different opponent from Achilles because he is smarter, much more patient, and a demigod. Whoa. We also meet a few more members from Mount Olympus. All in all, if you read the first book, this one is a good sequel. Just remembering that ya know, it is a work of fiction.
