Review: Falling Inn Love

“Falling Inn Love” is a cozy, mind-candy read that's perfect for an evening escape. It's a light, quick read that you can easily finish in one sitting, but don't expect a story of epic proportions.

The book kicks off with an instant attraction between the characters, drawing you in with the promise of a heartwarming romance. However, as the story progresses, it becomes clear that the writer relies heavily on the characters' physical attraction to drive the plot. This focus on attraction leaves much to be desired in terms of developing a deeper, more convincing love story.

The ending, unfortunately, falls flat. It hinges on the stereotypical trope of miscommunication and features a frustrating runaway scene from the female lead. This resolution feels rushed and undermines the potential emotional payoff.

Despite these shortcomings, “Falling Inn Love” offers a pleasant, if somewhat superficial, reading experience. It's perfect for those moments when you're in the mood for something light and undemanding. Just don't expect to be swept off your feet by a deeply moving love story.

You'll enjoy Falling in Love. 

While it felt mostly like a light and fluffy romance, the story got me teary eyed as Beth begins to face her past. Evan is the guy we all want. The characters in the story are loveable and have great chemistry together. 

The story felt it progressed too quickly. I would like to have had more depth to the story. However, I didn't feel like the author left anything out. All the elements were there to make it an enjoyable read. 

Overall I enjoyed Falling in Love and look forward to the rest of the series. The author set up the next book nicely at the end.

Everything seems kind of shallow, the word choices and dialogue are weird at times, and I'm already tired of reading the “electric surge” that passes between them. The atmosphere, the sweet side characters, and the cute inn are amazing pluses. The Fall Festival... being held at just the Inn??? On one hand, I want fall festival vibes, on the other... I'm having a hard time believing this could happen at an inn especially when Autumn has already begun. Festivals require time to put together AND time for people to get their schedules together to vacation someplace.
So ehhhh didn't feel like suspending my disbelief so much.

If you're looking for a Hallmark book and you don't mind plot holes or scenes that don't make realistic sense, then you'll enjoy this one.
