not the best novelisation i've read. barely any doctor or rose, too many pages wasted on backstory for random soldier characters who i don't care about cause they're going to die ten pages later, and van statten who is just an elon musk type dick, i don't need to know the backstory for why. i think this novelisation really highlights that this script in particular is really elevated by ecclestone's top notch acting
