Dates! An Anthology of Queer Historical Fiction Stories

I love the idea of this book, and I had really high hopes for it, but most of the stories are incredibly boring! It feels like it exists for the sake of existing, even though most stories do not contribute much to LGBT fiction. Yes, the authors had a limited page count to fit their stories into, but then, maybe, the book should've had fewer authors?

My other criticism is to the illustrations between the stories. They are supposed to represent famous LGBT people in history, but they do not say who the people are, which is a shame.

On the other hand, some of the stories are pretty great, and some of the art is marvelous!
