I am shedding internal happy relieved tears. overall I enjoyed the main characters WAY TOO MUCH they remind a lit bit of cough sam cough dea- ANYWAYS....
Guess what's getting re-released on June 10? But take note of the last line of the blurb on Riptide: This is a limited re-release of the original series, without changes. Some aspects of the story are now dated, and an updated version will be published at a later date.

As I continue on with my mystery/crime M/M binge, I've been thinking of conquering this series and putting it under my belt but turns out I only have the Spanish edition of book one in my possession, and since there's no official way to purchase these books anymore....should I take this as a sign for me to dust off my old trusty diccionario?
You know what I hate? When Im reading a book and near the beginning I think - Hey, I bet thats the bad guy. And then it is. I mean, if its a mystery....can we keep it that way until the end and not be quite so obvious?
Excellent character development - the mystery/cop aspect was well done, aside from what I said before. There was a little too much talking at times, but just enough angst that I was able to follow through and not skip entire paragraphs like I find myself doing in other books when the dialogue gets tedious.
Looking forward to the next books, hopefully the bad guy is less obvious.
I usually don't read this genre, but I was really intrigued by the premise and the potential, so I got a copy. Phew! The UST (unresolved sexual tension) is off the charts! Ty and Zane are interesting characters, though to be honest, I found their initial combative banter annoying - Ty especially grated on my nerves.
But then, their relationships changes, and fortunately Ty got less annoying.
If you're used to crime novels, the case is pretty straightforward (saw the bad guy from a mile away) and not as complicated as you'd like. After all, the focus is on Ty and Zane, and we get a lot of their interactions instead.
Still, fantastic work.
