Building Forever

Gentle, sweet and funny contemporary M/M romance. Charlie is one of the most lovable MCs I've encountered lately, and his tendency to babble when nervous is endearingly realistic. I also appreciated the fact that the realization of his bisexuality after years of a loving marriage to his late wife is treated as important but not as a shocking bombshell. Simon is a little less immediately accessible, but Jensen portrays him with such detail and nuance that he comes fully to life on the pages. I hadn't enjoyed her solo work as much until now, but with Building Forever she's really come into her own. I'll probably check out the other two books in this series, but it will be primarily because I want to catch glimpses of Charlie and Simon being happy together.
