I think the mystery wasn't too difficult to figure out. Had I not been reading while distracted I would have figured it out sooner.
Eve and Roarke being afraid of the babies and birth continued to be funny to me– I love that they have such a weakness, yet for their friends overcome it.
Not too much into their pasts with this one, which is a nice reprieve.
Still a great series.
I knew I liked the previous (first) J.D. Robb “In Death” book I read, but forgot why until I started this one. Lieutenant Eve Dallas is the ultimate cop of the future. These books are fun, suspenseful and well written. Although longer than some, they keep me engaged from beginning to end. I look forward to reading more.
