Black Canary, Volume 1: Kicking and Screaming

I love the punk rock vibe this entire graphic novel gives off. The new Black Canary caught my attention after I saw her in Batgirl, Vol. 1: The Batgirl of Burnside The illustration is brilliant and inspiring, I only wished the writing was the same. The story seem to throw you in and then when you start piecing things together the plot jumps around. ~Ashley

I love this art but the story kind of drags. I will read Vol. 2 just to learn the story but I'm glad it ends there.

3 stars eh. I love Black Canary so much (!!), but I don't know what's up with me and DC comics... We're apparently not compatible or something.

I loved the art and concept of this so much! So fun and I think will have a lot of appeal to teens. The plot is a little bit bananas but, you know, comics.
