This is a beautifully illustrated graphic novel with a beautifully whimsical story! I thought the story very comical, a little predictable, but in all the right ways!

Geeking over the silly humor and gorgeous colors. Who doesn’t love a story about cute witches
I noped out at 30% due to the lack of narrative thrust. The artwork is cute but not terribly clear in its communication.
AH! I really love the style, color pallet, design of the characters, expressions, and world building in this graphic novel! Obviously a lot of time and care went into this entire creation! Everything is very thoughtfully done and just in general really creative AND FUN!Def. one of my favorite reads this year and reminds me of [b:Taproot 35833506 Taproot Keezy Young https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1570462987l/35833506.SY75.jpg 57340135] a little bit.Really awesome to have spooky/fantasy vibes in such a great work such as this. Our goblin has ambitions to become a great magic user and find that her own goblin type magic...disappointing. She runs into a previous friend who has some major magic and they reconnect. They find that their friendship may be tested by authority figures, a bit of a mystery to get a ghost out of the mall, and a chance at love??? Exciting and really fun adventure!
This was SO ADORABLE!!!!!!! I really felt for Blob Ghost being stuck in the mall, and it was Wonderful to see how much Beetle truly cares for her friends!!!!! Overall I really REALLY liked the characters, and this has Such a good example of how good gentle kids can become Very mean because of the adults who are caring for them!!!! Definitely recommend if you want something fast and cute!!!!! Also, this is a Really great book for young kids too!!!!!!!!

This book is every good Halloween feeling carried year round. It is spooky in a fun, lighthearted way. The story of friendship and lovely queer romance is so gorgeous. The dynamics in this book are flawless. The overall vibe is so good. It's a cozy, comfort read worth curling up with a cup of tea to! I love it with my whole heart
