Be Not Far From Me

This was a solid survival thriller, which was just what I needed to get myself out of an emotional funk. Nothing groundbreaking, but enthralling and entertaining. Be warned that there is some gore and some disturbing scenes.

I preordered this book as soon as it was available on book depository and I don't know why because I NEVER preorder books. This book sounded like a book I would love and my mind told me to preorder it so I did. It feels like fate that I did because this book was AMAZING!

I love survival stories and what being stranded or trapped does to a humans mind. It's so interesting and I would love to read some non fictional survival stories soon :)

Not for the faint of heart! This was a thrilling story that went above and beyond “girl lost in the woods”.

Amazingly well done. The audiobook kept me hooked and distracted from everything else I was doing while reading. This is a survival book and while she thinks about past relationships or crushes, there isn't a love story here – for those of you looking for a YA without a romance.
I cried so hard reading this book and considering you aren't sure if she will actually survive, I call this a thriller.

I'm recommending this one to anyone looking for a short, engaging audiobook, or people looking for a intense book. Perfect for reluctant readers.

I liked it, but I did miss a twist of some sort.

Oof! This book is not for the faint of heart! I heard it described as “Hatchet but the main character is a for and she has her period” and that's accurate in some ways. But she's WAY smarter than Brian. I'd put her on my apocalypse team any day.
